Why Not Sundays is an explainer video we produced for Minnesota Consumers First Alliance and their campaign to allow beer, wine, and spirit sales on Sundays in Minnesota. This colorful video utilizes character development and character animation as well as some motion graphics and text animation elements. The video received an astounding 29,000 views within 24 hours of posting it on YouTube and while the legislation did not pass in 2016, it finally DID pass in 2017. One of the biggest reasons – an increased awareness amongst Minnesotans of the issue thanks to the successful media campaign in 2016.
#WhyIStartup was part of a campaign for Denver Startup Week 2015 by Women Who Startup. The video was debuted at the event and helped get people excited about startups before their panel on why it’s smart business to invest in women. Women Who Startup is a community to celebrate, connect and empower Women Founders, Women Who Code, Women Who Tech, and Women Entrepreneurs. This video primarily utilizes 2D animation and motion graphics to create a whimsical take on the real tweets of female entrepreneurs.
