I’m Chelsea Avery, Production Intern at Mighteor. I studied the Humanities with an emphasis in Film, and received a Technology, Arts, & Media certificate from the University of Colorado Boulder. Growing up and going to school in Boulder, CO – a place that is all about progress, art, and the outdoors – has led to me becoming a very versatile person. I love being outside, using my imagination, and being active about my role in the changing environment. You can often find me hiking, camping, rock climbing, cooking for friends and family, or losing myself either playing music or dancing to it. On the other hand, I adore rainy days, film and film music, staring at interesting looking things, creating interesting looking things, and am in a little bit of denial about an addiction to The Sims. My mind is often at war with its love of both indoor and outdoor activities, introversion and extroversion, etc. This can also be explained by my favorite color, Indigo, which you can never really tell is Blue or Purple.

FAVORITE INTERNET VIDEO RIGHT NOW:

Here’s a list of 5 Internet videos out there that I think are really somethin’.

Cee Lo Green’s interactive music video, “Robin Williams”

“The Innovation of Loneliness”

“Existential Bummer”

“Women’s Ideal Body Types Throughout History”

“A-Z of Dance”

Bonus Round… “Welcome to Kitty City”

WHAT MAKES A GREAT INTERNET VIDEO:

A great Internet video is the Internet video you often come back to in different conversations, and thus share with many people, many times.

DREAM SHOOT LOCATION:

Inside a dark studio, with a lot of clay.

FAVORITE DIRECTOR:

Hayao Miyazaki, and his musical partner Joe Hisaishi are my favorite duo. While Ridley Scott and his brother Tony Scott are close behind. I cannot deny the family behind True Romance, Alien, Blade Runner, Gladiator, and Prometheus.

FAVORITE PIECE OF GEAR IN THE GEAR BAG:

GoPro Hero3+, I love a camera that can go anywhere with me when I need it most, and doesn’t break the bank.

WHERE ELSE CAN I BE FOUND ON THE INTERNETS:

Browsing through Vimeo, Reddit, or listening to NPR TED Talk Radio Hour podcasts. Researching random thoughts and ideas. Lots of random thoughts and ideas. Or, you can also find me tweeting/instagramming every so often @nillanilsbean.
