As a modern tech company, you are basically required improve your digital presence on the daily. For us, this means new reels every few months, new imagery on our social every day and tweets by the hour. For 2016, it also meant a new website. My favorite feature? Our popsicles!
Many a person who has stumbled upon our website, either because they are googling around or because I said: I DEMAND YOU LOOK AT OUR WEBSITE, have asked the question: “What is the deal with the popsicles?” And for a long time, I didn’t really know. I told our web guru, Dan, that I just wanted something fun and silly, but after some thought, I think I have landed on something much more powerful.
The thing about popsicles is that they are a childhood delight. They come in delicious flavors like grape and cherry – which are a splendid treat to any young tongue. They represent whimsy. And summer. And endless joy. And in many ways, we strive to create that endless joy for our clients. A delicious video playable which elicits profound happiness in all who watch. Not a bad goal.
However, maybe it wasn’t nearly as random as one would think. One of my side hobbies in life is appreciating the many exploits of Sherlock Holmes. The consulting detective is a master of many things, but none more than picking up on details that seem irrelevant to everyone else.

A detailed review of my social media content reveals this… this image of the Mighteorites eating popsicles on a nice fall day. I am not saying I predicted it… but maybe we predicted it?
For those that don’t know, the popsicles are from the awesome AIKO Pops in the South Pearl Street neighborhood of Denver. It’s a rad place. Go check it out sometime for sandwiches AND popsicles.
So why popsicles? Why not.
